We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Millwork Engineer to join our engineering team. This is a permanent position that provides an excellent opportunity to work with a team of seasoned professionals in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing detailed millwork packages for high-end residential and commercial projects. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, creativity, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
1. Design and engineer custom millwork and cabinetry using Microvellum, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Mozaik software.
2. Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
3. Develop and maintain a library of standard and custom millwork details.
4. Coordinate with project managers and production team to ensure designs meet project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
5. Perform material take-offs and prepare cost estimates.
6. Collaborate with the production team to resolve any design or fabrication issues.
7. Continually improve and streamline the engineering process.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork engineering, specifically with cabinet and cabinetry design.
3. Proficient in Microvellum, AutoCAD, Inventor, and Mozaik.
4. Strong knowledge of architectural casework and custom millwork.
5. Exceptional technical and design skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Familiarity with the latest industry standards and regulations.
10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
