We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic team. This exciting role involves working on a variety of projects, from designing custom cabinetry and furniture to programming and operating CNC machines. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Microvellum software and will be responsible for creating detailed millwork drawings and specifications. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design custom millwork solutions for a variety of applications, including cabinetry, furniture, and other custom wood products.
- Utilize Microvellum software to create detailed millwork drawings and specifications.
- Program and operate CNC machines to fabricate millwork components.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure millwork designs meet project requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to millwork design and fabrication.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and standards related to millwork design and fabrication.
- Ensure all millwork designs and fabrications comply with applicable safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
- Proficiency in Microvellum software is essential.
- Experience with custom cabinetry and furniture design.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machine operation and programming.
- Strong understanding of millwork design principles and fabrication techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and work from architectural drawings and blueprints.
