We are searching for a highly skilled and dedicated Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the engineering industry, with a specific focus on millwork, cabinetry, and furniture. You will be responsible for designing, creating, and implementing high-quality millwork projects using Microvellum software. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, with a team of dedicated professionals. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize Microvellum software to design and engineer millwork projects, including cabinetry and furniture.
2. Collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
3. Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
4. Provide technical support to the production team during the manufacturing process.
5. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
6. Continually research and implement best practices in millwork engineering.
7. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure all materials meet project specifications.
8. Conduct regular inspections of completed projects to ensure durability and quality.
9. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the design or manufacturing process.
10. Maintain detailed documentation of all projects, including design specifications, materials used, and any changes made during the process.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork engineering, specifically in cabinetry and furniture design.
3. Proficiency in Microvellum software is a must.
4. Strong understanding of millwork production processes and techniques.
5. Excellent technical drawing skills.
6. Ability to interpret and work from architectural drawings and specifications.
7. Proven track record of successfully completed millwork projects.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
11. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the industry.
12. Proficiency in other CAD software would be a plus.
