We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Millwork Engineer to join our team of professionals. This role is an integral part of our engineering department, responsible for designing and developing high-quality millwork products for our clients in the engineering industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microvellum, Cabinetry, Furniture, Autodesk, Inventor, and Architectural Casework. If you are passionate about engineering, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
1. Design and engineer custom millwork projects using Microvellum software.
2. Collaborate with the project management team to determine design requirements and specifications.
3. Develop and maintain detailed product drawings and specifications for manufacturing and installation.
4. Utilize Autodesk and Inventor to create 3D models and virtual prototypes of millwork designs.
5. Oversee the production process, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and project deadlines.
6. Liaise with clients and architects to ensure designs meet aesthetic and functional needs.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve design and production issues as they arise.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in millwork engineering technology.
9. Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork engineering, specifically with Microvellum, Cabinetry, Furniture, Autodesk, Inventor, and Architectural Casework.
3. Proficient in 3D modeling software and CAD programs.
4. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Microvellum and Inventor.
5. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of work quality.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design and production issues.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
