We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is at the core of our operations, as it involves the creation and development of custom cabinetry, casework, countertops, and commercial millwork. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and designing high-quality millwork products, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the engineering industry to further their career in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and draft detailed millwork products including custom cabinetry, casework, countertops, and commercial millwork.
2. Collaborate with the project management team to understand project requirements and deliverables.
3. Utilize CAD software to create detailed drafts and designs.
4. Analyze and select materials for millwork products, ensuring quality and durability.
5. Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure successful execution of projects.
6. Perform quality assurance checks on all millwork products, identifying any issues and rectifying them promptly.
7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating them into designs and processes where applicable.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in using CAD software for drafting and design.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and creating custom cabinetry, casework, countertops, and commercial millwork.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
8. Knowledge of industry trends and advancements, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
