Our company is seeking a dedicated and innovative Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of experts in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will have the chance to showcase their skills in woodwork and casework, contributing significantly to our ongoing projects. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, a passion for engineering, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
2. Produce detailed drawings for woodwork/casework projects.
3. Work closely with the project manager and team to review and improve project designs.
4. Prepare specifications and technical details for each project.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation for each project.
6. Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
7. Collaborate with the production team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.
8. Continually improve and update knowledge on machinery, industry changes, and materials.
9. Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
10. Provide technical support to the production team as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in woodwork and casework engineering.
3. Proficient in CAD and other engineering design software.
4. Strong knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. High attention to detail with a strong ability to multitask.
8. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
9. Strong knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and costs.
10. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
