2ND Shift role for Milling Machinist-CNC:
CNC Mill Operator produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating our HNK Mill. In addition they are focused on maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment/ supplies. If it's a challenge and it's heavy machining, we are there for our customer.
Skills and Abilities Required for Milling Machinist-CNC:
- Program experience with MasterCam A Plus
- 5 or more years of experience with Milling machines/horizontal boring mills a plus
- 5 or more years of experience in set up, creating fixtures, and starting your own machine in a job shop environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with machine and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance
- Metals and the quality and machinability and uses of metals, alloys and other materials
- Mechanically inclined, and understand manufacturing techniques
- Ability to prioritize and review work
- Ability to effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment
- Ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, sketches and work orders
- Ability to maintain routine records
- Ability to move or transfer products with a hoist or overhead crane.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision
- Work overtime as/if needed
