Position Overview
In this hands-on role, you will focus on MIG welding to fabricate and assemble metal components with precision. Primary Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MIG welding on metal parts and assemblies.
- Accurately interpret technical blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect and measure welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team and, if needed, assist with press brakes, laser cutters, or turret presses.
- Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.
Recommended Qualifications
- Solid experience in MIG welding processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with common metal fabrication tools and practices.
- Knowledge of workplace safety protocols in a welding environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certifications, particularly in MIG processes (e.g., AWS or equivalent).
- Experience in structural or precision metal fabrication.
