Mid Senior Structural Engineer - ADF Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify project needs, define and deliver Structural Engineering solutions.
• Provide competent SE solutions: Design, Analysis, Structural Assessment of existing buildings, Capacity Ratings.
• Utilize Structural Engineering tools and software
• Interact with clients and contractors
• Collaborate with other engineers and designers

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Strong knowledge of Structural Engineering for Medium and Heavy Industrial Buildings:
• Reinforced Concrete Foundations for building and equipment
• Structural Steel Floors, Frames (Braced or Moment Frames)
• Masonry
• Be familiar with IBC, ASCE 7 Loads: Seismic and Wind
• Utility Racks, Pipe Supports,
• Knowledge of Fall Protection design and OSHA
• Knowledge of Ram Elements, Robot or other FEA engineering tools

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Civil/ Structural Engineering.
• 3 to 7 years of experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in consulting engineering, industrial and facility design.
• PE and/or SE certification
• Experience using REVIT software
• Leadership and pro-active attitude
• Consulting engineering experience
• Ownership and accountability
• Ability to conceptualize and execute projects and tasks
• Efficient and Effective communication skills
