Anticipated annual salaries for this position vary by location:
- Providence, RI: $200,000 - $220,000
- Los Angeles, CA: $325,000 - $350,000
- San Francisco, CA: $325,000 - $350,000
- Albany, NY: $200,000 - $220,000
- Long Island, NY: $240,000 - $265,000
- New York, NY: $325,000 - $350,000
- Rochester, NY: $200,000 - $220,000
Additionally, this role may offer performance-based contingent compensation, dependent on factors such as work performance, location, experience, education, and qualifications.

Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates should have:
- A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in patent litigation, with expertise in drafting and responding to pleadings, preparing infringement and invalidity claim charts, Markman and claim construction proceedings, patent-specific fact and expert discovery, and inter partes reviews.
- Experience in patent trials is advantageous.
- Admission to the USPTO and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or substantial experience in related disciplines are preferred.
Responsibilities include drafting legal documents for state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation; managing complex discovery requests; negotiating with opposing counsel; conducting and defending depositions; trial preparation; preparing appeal briefs for the Federal Circuit; and mentoring junior associates.
