Gradient, a Geosyntec Company, is seeking a motivated and resourceful Mid-Level Toxicologist/Risk Assessor to apply knowledge of toxicology, human health risk assessment and/or epidemiology to science-based evaluations of current and emerging environment and human health concerns. Required Experience:
Project work may include occupational health, litigation support, regulatory comment, product safety assessments, and site-specific human health risk assessment.
Assess exposure and human health risks from chemicals in the environment and consumer products.
Perform analyses in support of projects, such as preparing tables, systematic reviews, and hazard assessments.
Conduct literature searches and critically review and evaluate scientific studies regarding toxicology and exposure sciences.
Assist in the preparation of deliverables (reports, memoranda, proposals, agency comments).
Opportunities to manage small- to medium-sized projects.
Education and Licensure
Bachelor's degree in toxicology or related field. (required)
Advanced degree in toxicology or related field. (preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
At least 2 years (5+ preferred) of environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
Exceptional written and oral communication. (required)
Knowledge of environmental regulations, statistics, databases, and prior consulting experience. (preferred)
This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.
Minimum Salary: $79,760/year / Maximum Salary: $122,040/year (Seattle, WA)
