WHAT YOU WILL DO:Join our dynamic team, where innovation meets excellence. We are seeking a skilled Tier 1/Tier 2 System Administrator to contribute to the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing IT system infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing top-notch support to our internal customers. A major component of this role will be configuring UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components. Some of the daily problems that you will be solving will involve:
- Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Managing the daily activities of configuring and operating IT systems.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification and diagnosis.
- Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem resolution.
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems effectively.
- Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for various devices, including client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile devices.
- Escalate and communicate the status of issues to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing capacity analysis and planning.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, and maintain system integrity.
- Configure network components and implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience.

- Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience.
or
- An Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
