Summary
DLA Piper is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Litigation group, Product Liability, Mass Torts & Class Actions subgroup and work with its Class Actions practice. This position is open to candidates in the New York metropolitan area.
Education
+ JD
Bar Admission
+ Admission in the bar for the jurisdiction in which you are applying
Experience
+ Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm
+ Experience with class action defense
+ Experience managing multi-matter docket
+ Experience with complex commercial litigation, securities and/or consumer litigation
+ Previous federal clerkship is preferred

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

+ Some travel required

Pay Transparency
The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $310,000-$365,000 per year depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
