Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, to meet business requirements and performance objectives.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions to support organizational growth and evolving technology needs.

Configuration and Optimization:
- Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, for optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Implement network policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure consistent and secure network operations.

Network Monitoring and Management:
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security using network monitoring tools and utilities.
- Proactively identify and resolve network issues, bottlenecks, and performance degradation to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce network security policies, procedures, and controls to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to network security and data privacy.

Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide advanced technical support for escalated network-related issues and outages, diagnosing and resolving complex network problems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve network issues and coordinate resolution efforts.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
- Share knowledge and expertise with team members through training sessions, documentation updates, and collaboration.

Project Management and Collaboration:
- Lead network-related projects and initiatives from conception to completion, including planning, execution, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security analysts, and developers, to support overall IT initiatives and business objectives.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent are preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or administration roles, with demonstrated proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures.

Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networking.
- Experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco routers and switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba wireless controllers.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco Prime.
