JOB TITLE: Mid-Level Business Financial Manager
LOCATION: Washington, DC
SUPPORTING: Corporate and Federal Contracts
JOB CATEGORY: Regular Full-Time Employee
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

COMPENSATION: Salary at Patrona Corporation is determined by a range of factors such as location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The salary range or hourly rate displayed represents the typical salary range or hourly rate for this position and is just one component of Patrona Corporation’s total compensation package for employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 or more years’ experience in government contract financial management, financial/cost management, and analysis.
- 3 or more years’ experience providing financial management of a prime contract with subcontractors. Cost estimating and budget development experience.
- Management of both prime contractor execution and sub-contractor execution.
- Monthly review of prime and sub-contractor invoices and development of Monthly Financial Statements/Reports and internal workbooks to monitor contract execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams is required.
- Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint Accounting Software (Contract Management).
- Experience with the Department of Navy, NAVSEA, WAWF, eCraft is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and reconciliation of contract funding modifications.
- Review of charges against contract tasks.
- Validating expenditure plans against budget and funding.
- Management of monthly invoice generation and review.
- Providing and analyzing monthly data and report results to Senior Leadership.
- Development and maintenance of division budgets to support corporate revenue forecasts.
- Liaison with subcontractor financial and contractual personnel.
- Performing financial risk assessment for program execution (budget vs forecast).
- Performing assessments of products and procedures for compliance with government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, system application standards.
- Developing metrics to track contract execution at prime and sub-contractor level.
- Providing overall financial management of contract.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must show attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams, and to adjust schedule to address workload demands.
