The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the design, development, and implementation of millwork, cabinetry, and woodwork projects. This role requires a strong understanding of custom millwork, cutbilling, and cutlisting. The Permanent Microvellum Engineer will play a crucial role in our team, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop detailed millwork and cabinetry plans using Microvellum and AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Conduct cutbilling and cutlisting processes with precision and efficiency.
- Review and modify existing designs to improve functionality and aesthetics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microvellum software and designs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members on Microvellum and AutoCAD.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Continually strive for improvement in processes and quality of output.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong knowledge and experience in millwork, cabinetry, woodwork, and custom millwork.
- Demonstrable experience in cutbilling and cutlisting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
