The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SharePoint Online, site management, security configurations, and integrations with Microsoft 365 applications, and will play a key role in ensuring SharePoint meets our organizations evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft SharePoint Administrator to manage and optimize our SharePoint environment, supporting collaboration, document management, and workflow automation across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SharePoint Online, site management, security configurations, and integrations with Microsoft 365 applications, and will play a key role in ensuring SharePoint meets our organizations evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- SharePoint Administration: Oversee day-to-day administration of SharePoint Online, including site creation, permissions management, and configuration of web parts, libraries, lists, and workflows.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure SharePoint environments adhere to security standards and compliance policies by configuring access permissions, auditing usage, and implementing data protection strategies.
- User Support & Training: Provide technical support to end-users for SharePoint-related issues and create training materials to empower users in utilizing SharePoint features effectively.
- Content & Document Management: Design and manage libraries, document storage, and metadata to support efficient document management and retrieval across the organization.
- Customization & Integration: Customize SharePoint using Power Automate, Power Apps, and third-party tools to automate workflows and integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor SharePoint performance, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and business units to understand their needs and develop SharePoint solutions that support departmental and organizational goals.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint configurations, workflows, and user guides.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience administering SharePoint Online in an enterprise setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SharePoint Online administration, including site collection management, permissions configuration, and experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and general Microsoft 365 integration.
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, and compliance configurations.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide user support and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical skills and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve SharePoint issues effectively.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate or similar SharePoint/Microsoft 365 certifications.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration tasks.
- Familiarity with SharePoint migration tools and experience migrating from on-premises to SharePoint Online.
