Note: On the start date, the candidate is required to travel to the onsite location(Columbus, OH) at their own expense to attend orientation, collect their access badge, and laptop. Following this initial onboarding, the position will transition to fully remote.

Summary:

Client’s Microsoft 365 team is looking for an experienced Microsoft identity engineer/administrator to help complete the Active Directory Modernization program. Primary focus will be to migrate from Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) to Entra ID. Secondary focus will be to migrate identity provisioning to Entra ID and switching LDAP read activities to Entra ID.

Scope of Opportunity

• Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and helping to guide the migration from Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) to Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory).
• Group Management
• Join, Migrate, Leave (JML) Workflows
• Business Rules
• Assist in defining technical specifications and requirements for migrating identity provisioning from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID.
• Assist in defining technical specifications and requirements for migrating LDAPS and read-only domain controllers from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID.
• Develop and maintain consistent and compliant standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Microsoft 365 team and customer IT staff.
• Assisting customers with migration to the enterprise domains while standardizing on-boarding.
• Continuously improve productivity by analyzing deficiencies and recommending and implementing changes in tools, training, processes, and employee/customer engagement.
• Uses an IT ticket system ensuring that their tickets are resolved and closed out with the customer and in the system.
• Manage and report on key performance indicators to management.
• Contributes knowledge and updated information to maintain the Standard Operating Procedures and Training manuals for support.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding company and personnel information to maintain a professional work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expert experience with Microsoft Identity for Active Directory and Microsoft Entra
• Expert experience with MIM
• Experience with Microsoft Entra Connect and Microsoft Entra Cloud Sync

• Experience with Microsoft Entra Provisioning Service
• Experience with Microsoft Entra Domain Services
• Experience in an enterprise 24x7x365 SLA production environment supporting large M365/Entra government or commercial tenant.

• Must be able to teach and train technicians to perform MIM or Entra tasks
• Experience with Windows is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft 365 is a plus
