Microsoft 365 Administrator
This position is on-site and will support both our Plymouth and Oostburg facility.
You'll be responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of the on-premises Microsoft 365 environment, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, a hybrid Exchange environment, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams environments. Also responsible for troubleshooting, making changes to comply with email and account standardization, and creating policies for compliancy.
- Microsoft 365 (M365) tenant administration including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Compliance Center, Governance, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) / Single Sign On (SSO) integrations.
- Administration of email protection suite and policies including Domain-Based Message Authentication Reporting Compliance (DMARC), Sender Policy Framework (SPF), and other email security best practices.
- Assist in administration of on-premises Active Directory, Group Policy Object (GPO), Azure AD, and Exchange hybrid environment.
- Lead enterprise base initiatives and projects within M365 and security enhancements to assist users to share and communicate efficiently and effectively.
- Create and implement best practices and policies for Active Directory, Azure AD, M365 environments.
- Record, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve end users' M365 service-related issues.
- Assist with designing and publishing documentation on SharePoint sites.
- Co-administer IT ServiceDesk, mobile device management, asset management software, and smart phones with Technical Support Administrator.
- Assist with standardization and documentation of IT policies, including but not limited to: Internet, E-mail, Teams, SharePoint, Mobile Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), training, and other policies as needed.
- Primary backup to Technical Support Administrator and Network Services Team.
- Perform miscellaneous projects as assigned by the Network Services Manager, and/or the Vice President of Information Technology.
What You Can Offer
- Associate Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related technology work experience, with 3 years in administrating M365 and hybrid exchange environments.
- Requires a high degree of confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Extensive knowledge of Office 365 Email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Azure AD.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management preferred.
- Provide after-hours, on-call support to end users (weeknight/weekend).
- Personal computer and hardware trouble-shooting skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
- Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to provide timely onsite resolution, as needed.
- Consistent and reliable attendance to maintain adequate staffing levels and meet customer commitments is required.
