Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Scientist / Technologist in Long Island, NY - KA Recruiting Inc.

Your schedule will be 12:00am to 8:30am (nights), Monday through Friday.

This is a full-time role with benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting essential patient care processes with moderate to high complexity testing
• Analyzing and reporting testing results
• Implementing corrective actions as needed
• Working in a fast-paced lab with biological and chemical hazards
• Ensuring safety, compliance, and quality control

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field with 1 year of training
• 1 year of experience in high complexity testing
• Certification by ASCP or equivalent
• NYS Laboratory License.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate lab equipment

Bonus qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in specialized high complexity testing

Compensation: $38.00 to $55.00 per hour, based on experience.
