YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Manager, Product Portfolio are to:

The Manager, Product Portfolio will contributing to the generation of over $2 Billion in sales. As a member of the Portfolio Squad which consists of a large team responsible for over 10 products and assets in development spanning oncology, cardiovascular, hematology and women’s health.
Marketing Manager will accelerate sales growth through the development and implementation of the strategic and tactical marketing plans in current and future indications across the portfolio. As a member of the Marketing Portfolio Squad, incumbent will ensuring flawless execution of strategies in personal and non-personal channels across Healthcare Professional (HCP), Patient Marketing, Peer to Peer and KOL strategies. Serves as an agile resource contributing to brands across the Bayer portfolio.
- Drives development and implementation of effective marketing strategies and tactics across personal and non personal promotion, media, and digital channels targeting HCPs, Patients, Peer to Peer and KOLs. Participate in the annual brand plan process and ensuring effective management and deployment of P&I budget. Lead development and Promotional Review Team (PRT) approval of advertising and promotional materials for branded and unbranded initiatives;
- Embrace principles and tools of agile marketing.
Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) Marketing
- Partner closely with HCP strategy leads to ensure agile creation and flawless implementation of tactics that will be used by the sales teams and in digital channels;
- Continuously improve and optimize brand executional experiences based on customer insights;
- Key contributor to sales force engagement including supporting field advisory boards, field force communication, internal meetings, asset inventory management, sample supply and forecasting, and overall HCP budget tracking;
- Key contributor to national and regional sales meetings planning and execution;
- Partner with Learning and Development colleagues to ensure training is aligned to marketing objectives;
- Partner with marketing and sales operations to ensure flawless execution of strategy including use of tactics, and sales driven digital engagement tools;
- Partner closely with media teams to plan and execute targeted HCP digital advertising programs across channels (email, search, programmatic, and more).
Patient Marketing
- Key contributor to strategy and activation of consumer and patient marketing to support significant growth ambition of our brands;
- Contributes to the development of core branding, positioning, and consumer and patient messaging;
- Leverages data-driven insights to spearhead the development and implementation of effective consumer marketing strategies, messaging and optimal creative execution;
- Supports brand leads in the development and launch of new marketing campaigns;
- Partner with patient marketing and advocacy teams on the development of patient stories and supports regional and national advocacy events;
- Embraces agile marketing with a focus on patient promotion, media, and digital marketing;
- Partner with media team to oversee the DTC media/social strategy and optimize media mix to reach targeted populations.
Peer to Peer and KOL Marketing
- Leverages data-driven insights to cultivate effective peer-to-peer strategies across target customers and key accounts;
- Develops and optimizes peer-to-peer programs such as virtual broadcasts and in-person speaker programs to reach target customers with brand messaging;
- Establish KOL engagement strategy and tracking plan to position Bayer as a preferred partner in key therapeutic areas whilst meeting brand strategy and objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of and the ability to navigate the Pharmaceutical ecosystem often acquired through a PharmD program and/or experience working in a healthcare system/pharma/biotech;
- Strong business acumen including demonstrated marketing and analytical thinking skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and lead colleagues outside of a direct reporting relationship through influence and persuasion;
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and make decisions in ambiguous/uncertain situations;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Passion for patients and self-motivation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Digital marketing, media and advertising experience;
- Experience partnering with professional agencies and managing budgets;
- Demonstrated experience in HCP or Patient marketing.
