What will you be doing?
The General Merchandise business at Circana works with some of the most
innovative companies in the industry. This team is currently seeking an
Account Manager to be an integral team member dedicated to driving our
client's success. The Manager will contribute to the engagement,
satisfaction, and growth of our clients by providing value-added
insights for decision-making. The position provides the opportunity to
make an impact through existing analytical skills while developing the
knowledge and skills required for continued success in client
development and market research solutions. You will be responsible for
building relationships, providing analysis and insights, and driving
revenue through consultative selling. The main purpose of the role is to
ensure the retention of your existing client base while developing
profitable and sustainable new revenue streams within accounts.
This position is remote (US or Canada)
Job Responsibilities
- Leveraging Point of Sale (POS), Consumer survey data, and other
Circana data and information sources to develop analyses that help
our clients grow their businesses and gain market share
- Providing support to the team in managing the day-to-day activities
to enhance client relationships, including but not limited to,
sharing analyses on brand-specific topics, answering relevant client
questions, training/educating clients to drive adoption and usage of
Circana's strategic data sets
- Partnering with account leads and cross-functional departments to
drive initiatives that support the sale and delivery of Circana's
solutions
- Build relationships with client contacts to develop strategic
business insights regarding their most important business
issues/needs, both short and long-term
- Develop industry expertise by monitoring, researching, and
uncovering trends among consumers, retail, and entertainment.
- Being an expert in data, methodology, and tools for accessing data

- Ensure overall client satisfaction with service, data application
and deliverables by managing client relationships to build a
reputation for excellent service and generate repeat business.

- Ensuring that all internal documentation is kept up to date and
processes in place are accurately maintained.

- Effective, timely and accurate financial administration including
maintenance of opportunities, keeping a sales pipeline up-to-date,
creation of client P&L's, renewing client contracts, forecasting
and fulfilling internal reporting as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 to 5 year(s) of prior experience in a role that utilizes data and
analysis to add value to clients
- Highly detail-oriented with a ommitment to total quality and data
accuracy
- Strong expertise in all MS Office suite of products. Experience with
MS Dynamics and SalesLoft a plus
- Ability to work across various data sets and reporting tools with
ability to easily adopt to new tools
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proactive and ability to work autonomously
- Able to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced,
multitasking environment
- Professional demeanor along with timely responses displayed with
clients
- Strong oral and written communication skills
