Metal Cladding Project Manager - Eastern Companies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk and business management of a particular project(s)
• Management of all project team members (apprentice, project engineer, assistant project manager, superintendents, and field team members).
• 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
• Manage construction schedule based on project team input, progress and material deliveries.
• Change management systems, including soliciting, receiving, reviewing, and preparing quotations and change orders; track and inspect material deliveries.
• Attend and/or lead project meetings.
• Preparation of monthly project status reports, as required.
• Cost control with purchase orders, billings, collections, change management. · Key point of contact with GC, Owner and Architect
• Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work team.
• Accountable for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.
• Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of project(s).

MUST DO ITEMS:

• Daily Report (daily) as well as check and review project(s) team’s daily reports (apprentice, project engineer, assistant project manager).

QUALIFICATION:

• Meets qualifications and experience in responsibilities outlined in “Project Manager”
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to create and support team morale.
• Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
• Work scope requires complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to be flexible and a fast learner in software in regards to new project management and accounting cost management as implemented by the company.
• Effective participation and leadership skill in team environment.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• A strong work ethic, a “can-do” attitude and a positive team player in a fast paced working environment
