Job Title: Met Lab Technician
Location: Mulberry, FL
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (Overtime available based on workload)
Contract Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Are You Our Next Met Lab Technician?
As a Met Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our mining operations through hands-on, outdoor work in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for breaking up and mixing rocks as they come out of the lab, utilizing high-pressure water hoses in a garage setting. This position involves substantial manual labor, with approximately 60-75% of your time spent on physical tasks and 25% focused on skill-oriented responsibilities. If you have a positive attitude, are teachable, and enjoy working in a challenging setting, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
Conduct field tests on phosphate rock samples to support mining operations.
Perform manual labor, including breaking up and mixing rocks.
Operate high-pressure water hoses and other equipment as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient processing of materials.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years of experience in a labor-intensive or outdoor setting.
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
