Job Description As a member of our Global Innovation group, you will develop top-tier applications in the Geo-Data space, working alongside experts in spatial data, cloud computing, deep learning, and process automation. With innovation centers in Canada, Brazil, USA, and other key locations, you will join a network committed to pushing the boundaries of technology. Americas Innovation is seeking a dynamic and skilled Messaging Team Lead, dedicated to advancing our Remote Systems product family. This role involves managing the development team, overseeing team members' performance and career growth, providing technical leadership, ensuring the implementation of Agile best practices, and supporting the Product Manager with the Fugro I2V process. Job Responsibilities Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk. Facilitate team processes and their continuous improvement. Influence the vision and objectives for your team's work in alignment with business and market needs. Provide guidance, mentorship, and objectives setting to the team members. Solve complex real-world challenges creatively, effectively, and efficiently. Participate as a team member in agile Scrum deliveries. Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C# code. Job Requirements Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions. Must be able to work on-site 2 to 3 days per week; relocation assistance is not provided. A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or a related field. Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, MQTT, ROS) and networking. Must have 5 years of C# programming experience. Previous experience with agile methodologies, task prioritization, and resource allocation. Previous experience with cloud-based systems, preferably AWS. Previous experience in leadership positions is a plus. What’s in it for you?
