Job Overview:
Serve as our client's primary technical and business resource for its manufacturing execution system (MES) to ensure the system’s reliable, secure, and cost-effective use supporting our client's manufacturing and research operations. Other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years experience.
- Develop, support, and document code to integrate fab tools with MES via SECS/GEM in most cases; use project management methodology and regular communications to ensure success.
- Ensure MES is properly configured and utilized including user training and publisher support for the optimal use of our client's manufacturing resources.
- Work with manager and other departments to understand business priorities and support those priorities within MES and other automation tools related to manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain skills needed to support tools integration, databases, reporting and ERP integration. Develop processes and forms as needed to support MES.
- Work with publisher and IS to ensure a reliable, secure, speedy, and recoverable system and data.
- Manage MES user accounts and access control.
- Manage routine needs of MES databases; work with publisher and IS on databases when needed.
- Support user-created manufacturing run processes and custom reports.
- Support application updates with support from the publisher and IS as needed.
- Support the future integration of MES with ERP.
- Support and enforce change management and system documentation.
- Participate with publisher-related user groups to learn from other organizations and advocate client’s MES development needs with the publisher.
- Monitor and report on MES capacity and utilization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Deep knowledge and experience in SECS/GEM development.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing and semiconductor tools is ideal.
- Demonstrated ability to use change management and project management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and create needed standard operating procedures.
- General knowledge of database administration.
- General knowledge of ERP integration.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical individuals.
- Ability to train users.
- Experience in vendor management.
- Personal smartphone or reliable contact method for 24x7 access for emergencies.

Education Requirements:
- Degree in manufacturing, engineering, computer science or related field plus two year's SECS/GEM experience
- 1 year of Eyelit, Critical Manufacturing, Siemens Camstar experience.*
