Job Title: Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst
Job Summary: We are seeking a driven and analytical Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst to join our corporate development team. The M&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth strategy and collaborate closely with senior management and external advisors.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis, to evaluate potential M&A opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive presentations, pitch books, and investment memoranda for senior management and board of directors.
- Perform industry and market research to identify potential acquisition targets, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Assist in due diligence efforts, including reviewing financial statements, conducting interviews, and assessing risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) to coordinate and execute transaction processes.
- Support negotiations, deal structuring, and the preparation of transaction documents (e.g., term sheets, purchase agreements).
- Monitor and track M&A activity, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting strategic transactions.
- Provide post-transaction support, including integration planning and synergy analysis.
Skills Required:
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and perform in-depth financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of M&A processes, including due diligence, deal execution, and integration.
- Strong research capabilities with the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external parties.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required. A Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
