Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney - Mid-To-Senior Level - Silicon Valley - Deilegal

Global law firm is seeking to hire a Mid-To-Senior Level Associate for its Mergers & Acquisitions practice in its Silicon Valley office.

Requirements

• The successful candidate should be familiar with structuring M&A transactions, with the application of the federal securities laws to M&A transactions, and with Delaware jurisprudence relating to directors' responsibilities in the M&A area
• Experience drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and other transaction documents relating to acquisitions of both publicly traded and privately held companies
• Experience overseeing due diligence investigations of acquisition targets
• Experience preparing acquisition-related proxy statements, tender offer documents, information statements, and other disclosure documents
• Experience organizing closings of complex M&A transactions
• Experience mentoring junior associates
• 5 to 9 years of solid M&A experience, both buy- and sell-side, including cross-border transactions
• Admitted to practice in California desirable
• Excellent credentials
• Salary Expectations: $365,000 to $435,000 depending upon the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors
