Summary:
Merchant Services Settlement Analyst leads assigned projects and/or provides advanced specialized consultative support to other team members for assigned business process and/or system(s) that are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Maintains in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s).
+ Analyzes existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
+ Recommends business practices to optimize use of business process/system(s).
+ Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems.
+ Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.
+ Develops and generates special and ad hoc reports.
+ Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users.
+ Serves as liaison between software vendors and business process system users and other corporate areas.
+ Performs other duties as assigned
+ Experience with reconciling daily, weekly, & monthly bankcard settlement reports and reserve accounts..
This is a hybrid role. You must be located near a Huntington Corporate office.
Basic Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 4 or more years of experience in merchant acquiring settlement operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment with excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skills.
+ Keen attention to detail.
+ Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions.
+ Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and ability to re-prioritize as appropriate.
+ Ability to think strategically.
+ Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
