Guild Brands Merchandise Planning & Inventory Director

Guild Brands is looking for a team player, to oversee merchandise planning and inventory for two brands - Artful Home LLC based in Madison, WI and Uno Alla Volta LLC, based in North Branford, CT.

The successful candidate will function as a key player, driving seasonal planning, in-season forecasting, and inventory stock management in order to meet customer demand resulting in profitable sales growth. The Director is expected to model and foster collaborative strategic partnerships across merchandising, product development, marketing, creative, technology, finance and operations that translate merchandising strategies and assortments into seasonal plans. Responsibilities include analyzing data trends and inventory flow to maximize profitability. In addition, supports the three lifecycles of each season: pre-season planning, in-season forecasting/adjustments, and post season clearance and analysis. Ensures inventory levels satisfy demand and meet financial objectives associated with fulfillment, turnover, and profitability.

The successful candidate can be based out of Madison, WI, North Branford, CT or fully remote within the U.S. Some travel is required.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

• Education, training and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, inventory control, business, accounting, retail or a similar field
• Five (5) years of retail demand planning and/or forecasting experience (preferably in an apparel or eCommerce environment)
• Experience with purchase order systems and inventory management practices and procedures
• High level of Excel skills including pivot tables
• The ability to think strategically and tactically in the short-term and long-term management of this area of the business
