Merchandising Manager
Position Summary:
The Manager Merchandise will design, produce and sell all merchandise for Goldenvoice festivals. This position will collaborate with both in-house and outside artists on the design of and with vendors and sponsors on the production of festival merchandise. The Manager Merchandise will hire, train and schedule event staff and oversee the delivery, setup and inventory of merchandise areas.
Essential Functions:
- Recruit, hire and train event staff. Oversee the setup of merchandise area. Responsible for festival scheduling to ensure that all shifts are covered.
- Manage inventory on site during festival, ensuing that inventory levels are appropriately stocked and no items are missing.
- Work with in-house and outside artists on the design for merchandise. Submit design to upper management and artist management for approvals, and ensure that all change request are incorporated into the final product.
- Project management merchandise production with vendors and sponsors. Organize shipments and item delivery. Review merchandise to ensure requirements have been applied correctly.
- Responsible for the reconciling of cash drawers and post-show settlement with artists.
- Research new trends in design and up and coming artists. Build and maintain relationships with contacts in the fashion industry, vendors, artists and sponsors.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum education level of: BA/BS is Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related area
- 4-6 years of related work experience
- Prior Experience supervising, leading, and/or mentoring teams
Pay Scale: $77,819.00- $106,117.20
