Overview:
Calculated Hire is working with one of the largest retailers in the U.S. This role supports a high-growth E-Commerce subsidiary within luxury textiles and home goods. This is an exciting chance to join their E-Commerce Merchandising team as a Digital Merchandising Analyst. This role focuses on back-end site merchandising, ensuring an optimized customer experience through accurate product presentation, promotions, and data management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce operations, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage back-end website updates, including new product set up, product attribution, filtering options, and hierarchy, to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Maintain product data accuracy, including descriptions, images, pricing, and metadata, using tools like Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Akeneo (PIM).
- Set up and execute digital campaigns, including seasonal promotions, product assortments, and new department launches.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, click-through rates) to assess the effectiveness of merchandising strategies.
- Manage large SKU volumes, including launching new products (2,000+ SKUs) and maintaining existing inventories (20,000+ SKUs).
- Troubleshoot issues related to product data and content management, ensuring seamless updates and error resolution.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows, implement process optimizations, and streamline operations to improve accuracy and productivity.
- Utilize Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Excel (exporting/manipulating/reimporting data) to support merchandising processes.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience in e-commerce merchandising
- Hands-on experience with back-end website operations and product data management.
Programs & Softwares:
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar platform preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Familiarity with PIM systems like Akeneo is a plus.
- NetSuite is a plus but not required.
Other Skills:
- Ability to understand product attribution, hierarchy, and filtering mechanisms.
- Comfortable managing high SKU volumes
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
