This role is critical to our success and requires a unique individual with a blend of technical and leadership skills. As an MEP Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for our ground-up data center construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Our company is looking for a talented and experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee our Data Center Construction projects. This role is critical to our success and requires a unique individual with a blend of technical and leadership skills. As an MEP Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for our ground-up data center construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle including design, construction, occupancy, quality control, staffing, and budget management.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors involved in MEP trades.
- Ensure all installations align with project specifications and quality standards.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure design and calculation accuracy.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Develop and implement project work plans and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job.
- Resolve any problems that may arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues affecting the construction project.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Superintendent in data center construction projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, ground-up construction projects from start to finish.
- Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, including their design, installation, and operation.
- Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex construction projects.
- Strong leadership and human resources skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in construction safety and other relevant areas are a plus.
