We are searching for Masters level Therapists who do one on one therapy and group therapy and are willing to work one night per week in person in Dedham MA. These are fulltime salaried positions with benefits (100% medical/dental/vision paid by company).
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical or counseling setting.
Must have a Masters in Psychology or Mental Health Counseling or Family & Children Studies and/or be independently licensed meaning LCSW, or LMHC.
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic counseling services to our clients to help them manage a wide range of mental and emotional issues including stress, depression, anxiety, and trauma. The individual will use their expertise to assist clients in developing coping mechanisms, promoting personal growth and improving their mental health.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate clients' mental health status based on interview, observation, and various psychometric tests.
- Obtains history and presenting information as delineated in program policy (Biopsychosocial Assessments, Columbia Suicide Risk Assessment, Trauma Assessments, etc.…)
- Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to clients' specific needs and objectives.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions as appropriate, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Regularly review and revise treatment plans in collaboration with clients to ensure their evolving needs are met.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to provide comprehensive care (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers, primary care physicians).
- Coordinates comprehensive discharge plan to ensure seamless community reintegration.
- Maintain up-to-date, confidential client records, documenting clients' progress towards their treatment goals.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights, providing resources and referrals as necessary.
- Stay informed of the latest developments and best practices in the field of mental health counseling.
- Comply with all ethical guidelines, professional standards, and state and federal laws related to mental health services.

Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Valid state license in mental health counseling or equivalent; or license eligible.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical or counseling setting.
- Proficient in cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
- High degree of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
