• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

• Perform a wide variety of duties: assist and supervise personal cares, individual and group activities, activities of daily living, etc., under the supervision of Registered Nurse and Therapist
• Bathe dress/undress patient, assist with personal hygiene
• Serve and collect food trays. Assist with patient feeding
• Assist patient in ambulating
• Take and record vital signs, weights and I & O
• Pass and collect bed pan
• Change bed linen
• Provide encouragement, support and comfort to patient and family member
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation system
• Perform any and all other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Previous mental health work experience in an acute care facility

Preferred Job Requirements:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
