Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group and a national medical association have partnered to seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Membership Services Coordinator to join their Membership Services Department. This position plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to members and non-members, maintaining an accurate membership database, and assisting with various membership-related tasks. The Membership Services Coordinator will report to the Membership Services Director and will embody professionalism while supporting membership recruitment and retention efforts.
This role is hybrid and reports into their Silver Spring, MD office.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for NMA members, addressing inquiries and providing assistance.
- Process membership renewals and new member requests via email, telephone, or fax.
- Manage payments for conventions and meetings through the association management database.
- Maintain and update the membership database, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with membership recruitment and retention efforts, including follow-up calls and reminders.
- Collaborate with all departments on member-related matters and generate membership data reports.
- Participate in meetings, preparing minutes and other documents as needed.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Associate degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in membership recruitment, retention, and database management.
- Proficient in using electronic payment systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range: Hourly $27.00 to $28.00
