What You'll Do:
As a member of our Business Advisement team, you will be responsible for fostering relationships with our members, understanding their needs, and providing personalized support to enhance their engagement and success. Your role will involve:
- Acting as the primary liaison between our organization and members, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
- Developing and maintaining strong, direct relationships with members across the South East region.
- Collaborating with the Business Advisement team to deliver tailored support and guidance to our members.
- Staying informed about industry trends and challenges, and effectively communicating these insights to our members.
- Leading or participating in regional membership meetings, training, and educational events.
- Conducting training sessions and webinars to enhance members' knowledge and skills.
- Identifying and implementing strategies to maximize member participation and engagement.
- Continuously seeking new ways to improve our programs and services to better serve our members.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience in the grocery, natural foods, or equivalent industry, with a proven track record in business development and growth strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using technology and business systems, including CRMs and project management tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and make informed decisions.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of membership cooperatives or associations, purchasing cooperative organizations, or food/service organizations is highly desirable.
- Fluency in Spanish (conversational or professional) is a plus.
