ClearView Healthcare Management LLC is currently hiring a Skilled Nursing Home Billing Specialist who has experience billing claims to Medicare and Managed Care Insurance payors.

Medicare/Managed Care Billing Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Check / Confirm PT Eligibility if needed
- Assist facility Business Office Manager in balancing the daily census by reviewing patient census to check for proper payor setup and completeness and make corrections accordingly.
- Prepare and review patient claims for accuracy and completeness and resolve any discrepancies.
- Bills patient claims to Medicare and Managed Care primary and secondary payors
- Monitor claim status, research all rejections and denials
- Follow-up with Medicare and insurance companies regarding unpaid and disputed claims
- Check each claim payment to ensure paid accurately according to the claims contract
- Answer/respond to Medicare and insurance provider claim inquiries
- Complete aging reports by documenting patient account status for the payor
- Participate in the month-end close process
- Identify trends and carrier issues relating to billing
- Participate in professional educational opportunities to keep current on Medicare and insurance billing and reimbursement procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Medicaid Billing Specialist Qualifications/Skills:

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- High school graduate
- Experience working in an office setting
- Previous SNF billing experience a must, 1-3 years preferred
- Experience working with MatrixCare practice management system
