Medicare Insurance Agent
Job Summary
The Medicare Insurance Agent provides Medicare supplement plans to eligible seniors across the country, including our eligible wealth management clients. As a Medicare Insurance Agent, you will manage and complete the enrollment process for all Medicare supplement plans. You will guide, continue to educate, and support individual clients so they are confident with their Medicare decisions. You will also be responsible for tracking enrollments for each Medicare client through the internally created process.
This position is non-exempt and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Medicare Insurance Agent
Job Summary
The Medicare Insurance Agent provides Medicare supplement plans to eligible seniors across the country, including our eligible wealth management clients. As a Medicare Insurance Agent, you will manage and complete the enrollment process for all Medicare supplement plans. You will guide, continue to educate, and support individual clients so they are confident with their Medicare decisions. You will also be responsible for tracking enrollments for each Medicare client through the internally created process.
This position is non-exempt and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completing initial agent training, state licensure, and annual agent certification training.
- Working closely with Field Marketing Organizations to get contracted and appointed with insurance carriers to write business.
- Possessing a detailed understanding of Medicare, insurance rules and guidelines pertaining to Medicare supplement plans and prescription plans.
- Working with our financial advisors to create seamless handoffs for their eligible clients to work with you on their insurance enrollments.
- Continuing education on insurance trends via webinars.
- Helping clients meet enrollment deadlines.
- Working closely with the Medicare Solutions assistant to make sure all sales and commissions are tracked in dynamics.
- Using our CRM and Client Tracker to update clients throughout enrollment stages.
- Overseeing timely completion of client workflows.
- Answering client calls and emails.
- Working with insurance carriers for quotes, underwriting and client issues.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience with Medicare or current licensing a plus!
