Job Overview:The Medical Technologist analyzes and report lab values as part of the interdisciplinary care of our patients. Diagnostic procedures performed may include chemistry, microbiology, hemostasis, hematology, blood banking, urinalysis and phlebotomy.
Responsibilities:- Provides oversight over technical lab operations
- Reviews patient results as well as related records such as quality control and instrument correlations
- Analyzes and reports all lab tests requested on patients
Required Education
- Bachelor of Medical Technology, CLS or Science required
Required Experience
- 1 year Clinical Laboratory required, new grads accepted.
Required Certifications/Licensures
- MLT (ASCP), CLS or Equivalent certification required
- Med. Tech license in state of practice required
Rate for the per diem position is $35 per hour.
