Medical Scheduler Compensation

• The pay for this position is $18 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Medical Scheduler Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Mon-Fri 8:30a-5p

Medical Scheduler Responsibilities

• Scheduling patient appointments and tests in an efficient and timely manner.
• Cancels/reschedules appointments according to physician schedule changes; notifies appropriate clinic personnel.
• Answers all incoming calls and directs calls to appropriate personnel
• Serves as a liaison between patient and medical staff.
• May orient, train, and assign the work of lower level employees

Medical Scheduler Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience of scheduling in healthcare setting
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Medical Scheduler Preferred Qualifications

· Chemotherapy and/or Oncology experience preferred but not required
