Medical Receptionist - Surgery
McLean, VA

MUST:
3+ years of experience in a medical front desk position
Experience working in dermatology or plastics preferred
Highly experienced working with insurance companies
Creating and presenting treatment plans
Verifying insurance
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have experience working Nextech EMR
Experience handling pre-authorizations
Associate or Bachelors degree highly preferred


DUTIES:
The Medical Receptionist/Surgical Coordinator will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Assisting with the day-to-day operations of office
Greet patients
Create and review treatment plants
Schedule appointments
Document and update patient information in Nextech EMR
Answer phones and takr detailed messages
Verify insurance
Obtain pre-authorizations
