Medical Records Clerk- START ASAP at TEKsystems

Teksystems is looking for a Medical Records Clerk in the Baltimore area!

MUST HAVE: Any administrative, clerical, medical records experience!

Description:

• Scanning patient records
• Completing prep work on patient records and files to be submitted to electronic system
• Digitizing all paper charts/records-- Scan into system and index them
• Filing patient charts/records
• Assisting all Medical Records clerks with ensuring accuracy of records
• Communicating with various departments to access records and submit

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or higher
• Must have at least 1+ years of work experience within customer service, administrative type role within healthcare. DO NOT need to have medical records, however if they have ever done scanning/filing/indexing etc in any sort of job that would be a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pound boxes
• Requires walking, standing, sitting, frequent stooping and bending, and lifting of heavy charts.
• Must have strong computer/communication skills/customer service
