About the Job
Mad River Eye Care in Waitsfield, VT is looking to hire a full-time Medical Receptionist. We pay a competitive wage of $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer support in obtaining your paraoptometric certifications that includes reimbursement for your study resources and certification testing fees.The typical schedule is Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, approximately 36 hours a week with the option of working up to 40 hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcoming patients and ensuring their experience is positive from start to finish
- Patient communication and education
- Managing our schedule and office flow
- billing and a variety of other front end administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer Service Experience is required
- Comfortable interacting with patients in person and over the phone
- Ability to use technology
- Strong communication skills
