Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
Appointment Scheduling: Manage and schedule appointments, confirm patient details, and handle rescheduling or cancellations as needed.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate patient records, verify insurance information, process payments, and manage billing inquiries.
Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to medical staff.
Clinic Operations: Maintain a clean and organized reception area, manage office supplies, and assist with inventory as needed.
Support to Medical Staff: Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow and support during procedures or consultations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Proficiency in medical terminology, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic computer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
