Medical Receptionist/Registration Clerk at TEKsystems

A local hospital in Santa Rosa is seeking a dedicated and friendly Medical Receptionist/Registration Clerk to join their team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients arriving for their appointments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients as they arrive and assisting them through the admissions process.
• Coordinating with nurses to ensure patients complete the necessary paperwork.
• Collecting accurate patient information and entering demographic and financial data into the computer system.
• Verifying insurance and personal information to ensure proper registration in the Emergency Department (ED).

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience in the healthcare sector.
• Preferred experience as a medical receptionist or front office medical assistant (MA).
