Medical Office Assistant Administrative Services Coordinator

MUST:
The Administrative Services Coordinator should have the following:
2+years of medical office or hospital experience
Strong EMR experience
Experience following up on patient s accounts
Scanning medical records
Printing and mailing our records
Strong customer service support experience
Strong medical terminology knowledge
Microsoft Office Suite
Some College preferred
Strong follow up experience
DUTIES:
The Duties of the Patient Account Rep include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain daily Maryland Medicaid authorization database and documentation
Scan records into patient's EMR
Print out records and mail out
Provide administrative support
Update information in EMR
Follow up on accounts
Scan cash postings into patient s accounts
Respond to medical record requests
Process vendor invoices
Open and sort mail by department
Scan documents from the state in patient s medical records
Assist with projects
