Job Description:

The client, a Fairfield, CT, and Trumbull, CT-based Medical Group is seeking four Temp-to-Perm Receptionists for their Trumbull or Fairfield offices. They might ask the person to rotate between both offices at times.

The client has been in business for 60 years. The client will consider candidates with no medical experience but some receptionist or customer service background.

Hours for the three shifts.
• 8:00 am-5 pm
• 8:30 am-5:30 pm
• 9 am-6 pm
Saturday's once a month, 9 am-1 pm, and this will be overtime pay.
Mondays, in Trumbull, you will need to work until 7 PM on a rotating basis to collect co-pays
You will rotate between offices now and then.

Responsibilities include:

• You will answer phones and are the first person patients meet when they come to the office. A pleasant demeanor is always paramount.
  
• You will be taking refill requests and making appointments for patients (new and established)
  
• You will be responsible for checking eligibility, collecting patient copays, scanning, sending/receiving faxes, schedules, prior authorizations, medical records, physician support, and lab test requisitions.
