Pay: $80-110/h based on experience
Duration: 4 month contract with goal of bringing someone on permanently (cannot guarantee)
Location: Fully Remote
- 4 months with possible extension; Hopes to convert, but no guarantees at all\

Scope of work:
- Manage publication plan, develop publication strategy
Requirements:
- Need to see pharma industry experience doing the above
- These need be on the resume: Manage publication plan, develop publication strategy
- Cross-functional exp would be a plus
- Publications database (ex. DataVision, InVision, or other okay - these are common but others exist)
- Pharma
- The more the better in terms of years' exp. Minimum 3+.
Job Description:
- The assigned publication programs will be global, may be complex, and of business importance to Takeda and Takeda's reputation, requiring multi-functional leadership experience to achieve program goals
- Ensure Company's company-sponsored publication activities are conducted according to good publication practices (including ICMJE, GPP3, CONSORT, etc) and Takeda's Global Publication Standard, SOP, and applicable practice guidelines.
- Develop and manage product/disease area Global Publication Strategies and Plans with relevant Global Medical Teams.
- Demonstrate functional level leadership with the ability to inspire, motivate and drive results.
- Excellent communicator, able to persuasively convey both ideas and data, verbally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders (authors, Publication Steering Committees, asset Publication team).
- Proven skills as an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within and outside the company.
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions, regions and cultures.
- Ability to distill complex issues and ideas down to simple comprehensible terms.
- Strong publication experience in medical communication agencies or biopharmaceutical industry within a matrix structure.
- Experience in a medical affairs role (e.g. Medical Information, Medical Communications, Medical Education, Publications, Evidence Generation).
- CMPP qualification highly preferred.
