We are seeking a Medical Project Manager with Health and Human Services experience for a contract assignment working on-site in Austin, TX. Looking for local candidates only.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and performing project management for a portfolio of Medicaid Technology Modernization projects. This will involve managing large-scale projects with significant information technology components and driving strategic and transformational change delivery. You will need to develop and maintain high-level timelines for the portfolio and a detailed timeline for each project, including an integrated project schedule when needed. You will also need to lead and facilitate meetings, and regularly report to the leadership on project status, including budget, scope, schedule, resources, issues, and risks. A key requirement for this role is a strong knowledge and skill of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
The Project Manager will be entrusted with the responsibility of delivering quality products that meet the state's desired operational and technical requirements. They will have considerable latitude to leverage their experience and judgment, ensuring the successful completion of their assigned tasks. The Project Manager will be required to multi-task, analyze priorities, communicate clearly, and set expectations for implementing various Medicaid Technology Modernization efforts. They will communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders including program and technical staff, and other contracted and vendor resources. The Project Manager will participate in meetings, track deliverables and schedules, and alert management of any issues impacting the implementations.
